Perch fishing is still hot in certain areas, 87th is seeing some good size fish but you still  have to work for them, Gary Light is still seeing some good action out on the boat. Lots of Coho being caught in Burns Ditch, as well as in Michigan City. Small hair jigs under a float have been the ticket. The local rivers are also picking up some decent fish. Lots of reports of solid catfish on the Des Plains, and some good smallmouth action on the Kankakee. Lots of guys are also headed south for some good Crappie fishing. Shelbyville, and Lake Springfield have been producing some giants.
