Trout: Horsetail lake has been getting a ton of fish, and also a ton of people. Very busy there but guys are catching their limit very fast. Minnows, dough bait and red worms have been the ticket.
Bass: Expect a lot of fish to be active wherever you go. From the local ponds and forest preserves, to all the big lakes and rivers we are getting reports of active fish. moving baits have been the key to catching them right now
Crappie: Still a ton of action going on down south. Lots of big crappie being caught. Around here there are a ton of quantity, but the quality has been lacking.
Walleye: Guys are catching some good size walleye on Heidecke and Wolf Lake. Flicker shads, and vertical jigging some flukes have been producing some really good size.
