Trout: Still big trout being caught at Horsetail and Green lake, brighter color trout bait is catching some really good size keepers.
Catfish: Braidwood and Lasalle lake have been on fire for big blue catfish and bass. Shad has been out fishing Skipjack recently, don't be afraid to try some out.
Crappie: Lots of local forest preserves are finally seeing some action. Lots of good size fish being caught. A mix of road runners and plastics have been catching them really good.
Coho: Plenty of action around East Chicago as well as Downtown. Most anglers are flatlining Shad Raps and Flicker Shad, as well as trolling Coho Flies.
